The assault caused the partial closure of the Central Terminal Area tunnel and the Terminal 3 parking area.

Two more people have been arrested related to a theft at Heathrow Airport where over twenty individuals sustained injuries by what is thought to be pepper spray, according to police.

A 24-year-old man, was arrested in Lambeth for suspected robbery and assault and a woman, 23 was arrested for suspected conspiracy to commit robbery. Both individuals remain in custody, authorities confirmed.

The arrests follow an investigation into an attack at the multi-level parking garage at Heathrow's Terminal 3 this past Sunday. Prior to the incident, a pair of female travelers had stolen from them their suitcases upon exiting a car park lift.

A toddler aged three was one of the injured in the event. Five people were taken to the hospital for medical care and have since been released.

Police arrested a man in his thirties on suspicion of theft and assault close to the scene. He has since been released pending further inquiries while inquiries continue.

Police were called at about 8:10 in the morning GMT following reports of a number of individuals hurt by a noxious substance believed to be an irritant spray.

The attack - which police said was isolated and not considered an act of terror - resulted in train delays and the temporary shutdown of the main airport tunnel and the Terminal 3 car park briefly.
